How to Unplug Your Kids from Gadgets?

Are your children too gadget-dependent?  It’s important for them to break the habit as soon as possible. Here are 3 tips on how to unplug your kids from gadgets:

1. Set an example

Children learn from their parents; if you can’t do it, how do you convince your children to do the same? Start by putting your gadgets aside and engage in different activities with your kids.

2. Avoid using gadgets as a sole learning tool

Instead of watching videos, get your children to read a physical book or write with a pencil rather than typing away at the iPad.

3. Encourage outdoor activities

Build their gross motor skills by getting them to move around and mingle with other kids and their surroundings. You can even join your kids for some quality bonding time.
